4.1.5.1 Analog Transmissions

1. Press the TX Mode Change key

repeatedly until analog transmit

mode is displayed. Depending on

channel programming, the analog

transmit mode may display the

Analog Transmit icon ( ), Analog

CTCSS Transmit icon ( ) or

Analog CDCSS Transmit icon

( ).

2. Ensure that the channel is clear.

3. Press and hold the push to talk

(PTT) switch. The Transmit/Receive

LED will light red while transmitting.

4. Hold the microphone approximately

two inches from your mouth and

speak in a clear, normal voice.

Keep the PTT switch pressed until

you have finished speaking.

5. Release the PTT switch to return to

standby mode and receive any

reply.
